A system that is concerned solely with the inherent nature of the act being judged. Meaning that no matter the outcome, it's only the act that is to be judged for right or wrong.
EXAMPLE !
Robinhood stole from the rich to give to the poor. You immediately think, this is a good thing, because it's a completely selfless act. Except if we were to analyze this using a Deontological Ethical System, it would be an extremely wrong act because stealing is wrong. It doesn't matter that in the end he was giving to the poor, instead that he stole. In Deontological Systems, it is the act and the act alone that matters.
